چکیده
Cache-enabled Device-to-Device (D2D) communications, recognized as one of the key enablers fifth generation (5G) cellular network, are a promising solution for reducing great burden on mobile core networks and backhaul links. Caching, however, imposes new networking user Key Performance Index (KPI), which is probability satisfaction. In other words, how likely it that will obtain necessary information from network? Such depends type transmission, (i.e., half duplex or full duplex) many elements related to caching system, including way cached popularity information. The analysis those produces different modes operation. To evaluate KPI, probabilities each mode operation must be extracted transmission conditions. This paper presents thorough probabilities, relevance relationship between policies, content types. relationships allow smooth evaluation satisfaction under

Modeling and Performance Analysis of Full-Duplex Communications in Cache-Enabled D2D Networks
Cache-enabled Device-to-Device (D2D) communication is widely recognized as one of the key components of the emerging fifth generation (5G) cellular network architecture. However, conventional half-duplex (HD) transmission may not be sufficient to provide fast enough content delivery over D2D links and to meet strict latency targets of emerging D2D applications. In-band full-duplex (FD), with it...
متن کاملCognitive and Cache-enabled D2D Communications in Cellular Networks
Exploiting cognition to the cache-enabled deviceto-device (D2D) communication underlaying the multi-channel cellular network is the main focus of this paper. D2D pairs perform direct communications via sensing the available cellular channels, bypassing the base station (BS). Dynamic service is considered and the network performance is evaluated with the stochastic geometry. Node locations are f...
متن کاملOn Improving Capacity of Full-Duplex Small Cells with D2D
The recent developments in full duplex (FD) communication promise doubling the capacity of cellular networks using self interference cancellation (SIC) techniques. FD small cells with device-to-device (D2D) communication links could achieve the expected capacity of the future cellular networks (5G). In this work, we consider joint scheduling and dynamic power algorithm (DPA) for a single cell F...
متن کاملFull-Duplex Enabled Cloud Radio Access Network
Full-duplex (FD) has emerged as a disruptive solution for improving the achievable spectral efficiency (SE), thanks to the recent major breakthroughs in self-interference (SI) mitigation. The FD versus half-duplex (HD) SE gain, in the context of cellular networks, is however largely limited by the mutual interference (MI) between the downlink (DL) and uplink (UL). A potential remedy for tacklin...
متن کاملFull-Duplex WiFi Networks
The device in conventional half-duplex WiFi networks cannot perform carrier sensing while in data transmission; thus it suffers from long collision duration. To mitigate this problem, this chapter introduces full-duplex (FD) technology into WiFi networks. A novel CSMA/CD protocol design is first presented for singlechannel FD-WiFi, which facilitates continuous carrier sensing and transmission s...
